English SEO Publishing QA

Preview the search snippet, then verify the brand signals

Enter a public page URL to review its title, meta description and display URL. Before publishing, use the checklist below to verify the site name and favicon signals that appear beside the snippet in Google Search.

Search snippet preview

Read and preview a public page

The tool reads the page title, meta description and final URL. Treat the preview as a publishing aid: Google may generate a different title link or snippet for a particular query.

Check four different signals, not one combined field

The title and description describe this page. The site name and favicon identify the website. A clear page snippet cannot compensate for weak or inconsistent site-level identity signals.

Manual QA after the preview

A practical pre-publish sequence

Use the tool output as the first check, then review the actual HTML and site-level signals before release.

01 / Page

Confirm intent, title and description

Check that the title identifies the topic and that the description gives the right visitor a reason to continue. Do not treat character counts as a guarantee of how Google will display the result.

02 / Home page

Confirm the site name source

Review the canonical home page, its WebSite structured data, visible brand references, title and og:site_name. These signals should describe the same website identity.

03 / Asset

Inspect the favicon at a small size

Confirm that the home page declares the icon, the asset URL is stable, Googlebot-Image can crawl it and the mark is still recognisable when reduced to search-result size.

04 / Evidence

Compare with the live result after recrawl

After publishing, allow time for recrawling and compare the live search result with the intended signals. A correct implementation makes the page eligible; it does not guarantee a particular display.
